Located in the basement, the banquet room is the perfect place for your private party, social event, or special occasion. Equipped with a big screen T.V., pool table, bar, and bathroom, the basement banquet room can be accommodated to suit almost any needs.

Deposits/Fees

The fee to rent the room is $100 for parties larger than 20 people. The fee for parties of less than 20 people is $50. The room fee is required upon confirming the event to guarantee the reservation. The room fee is used as a non-refundable deposit and availability of the room is on a first come, first served basis.

Seating

The basement banquet room seats a maximum of 50 people. To find the banquet room, enter the bar and begin walking towards the left side, turn left around the corner and you will see the door to the stairs.

Food

We will provide any and all food needed for the event, as we prohibit any food or beverages to be brought in by guests. You can choose to either have guests order off of the menu or create a custom buffet (see buffet menu, we are happy to accommodate any preferences not listed, however a minimum 2 week notice is required for ordering purposes). Any parties with food will be assessed a 20% gratuity added to the bill. In addition, if ordering from the menu, the fee to have a server is $10 per hour. If you choose to have a buffet, a cocktailer may be needed for $8 per hour to serve drinks. Separate checks are available if ordering from the menu, however, please allow a reasonable amount of time for server to separate checks and take payment. For larger parties ordering from the menu, it is typically helpful if we know ahead of time what everyone will be ordering so that the kitchen can prepare accordingly.

Drinks

A bartender can be arranged for $15 per hour. Gratuity is not included in this charge. The bar in the banquet room can be stocked determining on what will be needed for the specific event. The capacity for liquor is 7 different bottles and beer is 4 different kinds, and prior arrangements need to be made in order to have the bar stocked and ready. Anything else needed that night, the bartender can go upstairs and get on a drink to drink basis, however, please allow appropriate time. We will have a cash register available downstairs if you choose to have your guests pay for their own drinks, otherwise, the bartender will keep a tab for you without having to go upstairs. Bartender availability is limited and a 2 week notice is required to make schedule arrangements.

If you decide not to have a bartender, a cocktailer can be used for $8 per hour and can get any drinks from the bar upstairs and bring down to you. Once again, gratuity is not included in this charge, so please plan accordingly. Another option is to have a keg which is $175 and is self served. If you wish to have a few different types of bottles of beer, without a bartender, we have coolers which is also self served, just let us know which kinds and how many of each.

Mulligan's West will not be responsible for any property damage. Mulligan's West is not responsible for damage to any items or equipment brought into the establishment. You will be held responsible for any damages made to Mulligan's property. The basement banquet party room is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. There is a fire escape located in the back of the room and is used for emergencies only. Mulligan's West has the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. All food and non-alcoholic items sold will be charged and Illinois Sales Tax of 7.25%.
